PJ (Patty) has won numerous national awards and fellowships for her playwrighting and has been produced at major regional theaters, and her works have been developed by prestigious new work programs and theaters including New York Theater Workshop, Playwrights Horizons, Fresh Ink, PlayLabs, Williamstown Theater, and The Oregon Shakespeare Festival. She has been an artist in residence at Iowa Writers Workshop. She is the winner of the Kennedy Center’s Roger L. Stevens Award for New Plays and the Morrow-Heus Screenwriting Award among other honors.
